We would like to offer an opportunity to those that have a heart for this ministry and to those who have benefited from this ministry in some way, to offer their support.
We are blessed with generous practitioners, some of whom donate a major part of their services. However, some clients who need extended specialist care need financial support to continue. We have the therapeutic and ministry skills to bring healing to these people but that does not mean we can always afford to, there is often a need for financial assistance.
What we do and what God does in our counselling rooms brings about healing and growth and positive changes for our clients. This is only part of the picture. The bigger picture is that growth and maturity happens best in community. If we can partner with communities and assist them to keep growing in maturity and wholeness, everybody benefits.
When the client needs significant support we have made small beginnings by piloting a "support the supporter" programme whereby we work closely with a key support person. This approach takes pressure off the therapist and means that the time and energy invested into the mature supporter benefits not only the client in question but naturally flows through into his or her wider community.
Our ultimate desire is to support our churches and communities.
